Travis Hickman, a native of Florala, AL, is a graduate of Troy State University with a bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Troy University with a Masters's Degree in Music Education.

Mr. Hickman serves as the Director of Bands at Holtville High school for the Green Machine Marching Band and Concert Bands. He has been a Holtville Bulldog since the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year. He has enjoyed working with the amazing students and musicians at Holtville and looks forward to the future. Mr. Hickman's past and present musical affiliations include National Association for Music Education, Alabama Bandmasters Association, Alabama Music Educators Association, and Kappa Kappa Psi. 

Mr. Hickman enjoys spending time with his beautiful family: his Wife, Lindsay,  10-year-old proud Big Sister, Madisyn Claire, 8-year-old Little Sister, Olivia Kate, and 6-year-old little boy, Carter Brooks. Mr. Hickman also enjoys playing golf and making music.
