Kelli Watkins Staff Photo

I graduated from Auburn University with a BS and M.ED in Secondary Mathematics Education. War Eagle!

I began my teaching career in Smith Station, where I taught seventh grade at Smith Station Junior High School for three years.  From there, my husband and I ventured to the midwest where I taught 7-12 mathematics in Ashley, North Dakota for five years. After starting a family, and wanting to return home, we made our way back to Elmore County. This is my first year teaching at Holtville High School, and I couldn't be more excited about that!

My name is Kelli Watkins and I love math! I am an Elmore County native, originally from Millbrook and graduate of Stanhope Elmore High School.  My husband is a former Wetumpka Indian, and after experiencing life abroad we were ready to come back to Alabama and settle in Holtville. We have a little boy, a dog, a cat, and a farm full of cows. We love the quiet, country life Holtville has to offer and I am excited to be teaching and investiing in this community!
